Easy and casual hike. Blackberries are ripe for picking along the trail in late August!

Cute little nature trails. Most of it is wooden boardwalk so good for kids, even strollers, and lots of places for kids to explore shallow creek beds

good trail, a lot of people walk on it. I went in the evening with my dog and we saw quite a few groups with children as well as many other dogs. it is a bit overgrown in some spots but overall pretty good conditions.

Dog friendly! Very simple with many different pathways — all of them lead back to the same place!

lots of different small trails to take. The boardwalk parts of the trail were fun and made it easy to walk through. Lots of different paths and places to explore.

This is a great park for walking around. There are no difficult parts. It’s great for kids or if you just want to enjoy a nice walk with a warm cup of coffee. We just spotted some salmon swimming upstream this week. This an enjoyable park for anybody.

This is a beautiful park with lots of trails including some nice boardwalk. There's some art on the trail too and murals under the overpass. We saw several birds including a couple King Fishers.

If you park at the fish park entrance there is a wonderful long, winding boardwalk that would accomodate strollers and wheel chairs. It is a lovely meandering walk through the trees. It would be a great place to bring the littles.

It was a great hike for first timers like me. Beautiful scenery, but difficult to find.

This was a great walk with the kids. Be cautious of the walkways, it's easy for a kid to fall over the edge.

this is a great trip for the whole family. doesn't take very long and close to down town Poulsbo so you can go get ice cream afterwards. I took my to younger children 4 and 6 on this and they lead the way. Boardwalks and in good condition. Ps. look up or you will miss the best parts.

This is such a beautiful park with many off shooting trails and loops that you will miss the first time, which might explain some of the negative reviews. There are places to overlook Dogfish creek, natural ponds, creeks, walk boardwalks, find shade or sun and climb to the top of a mound for a good view around. Mostly level and easy to get around, but you can also climb a short hill trail to reach Viking Ave NW (no parking here). Due to the wetland and natural state of the park it has the largest amount of boardwalks I have seen in Kitsap that are well maintained. There may be storm damage from time to time due to trees falling across trails or streams overflowing, but most of the trails should be accessible year round. This isn't a garden park, it's a wetlands park with mud and moss to view, but don't have to step in. I wrote a blog showing the building of one of the boardwalks at http://kitsapcareshomescommunity.blogspot.com/2015/04/poulsbo-lions-club-build-boardwalk-at.html.

A small, but a great park. A series of trails that intertwine that includes multiple habitats. Great for a leisurely stroll and for bird viewing. There are multiple viewing platforms that overlook a tidal stream... perfect for viewing the salmon migration in the fall.
