Poo Poo Point Trail is a great hike to Poo Poo Point on the shoulder of West Tiger Mountain within Tiger Mountain State Forest. The trail can be accessed from the Issaquah Alps trailhead where there is free parking. There is also parking at Issaquah High School. The trail starts off with a gentle incline but gets increasingly steeper the farther you go. The trail follows Many Creeks Valley and crosses several creeks. There is a nice bridge that crosses Gap Creek which makes for a good place to explore and take a break. The entire trail is under tree cover so you will never be directly in the sun. At the top, there are great views, especially at sunset, two picnic tables, and there is a Clivus toilet. The point is a popular area for paragliding and hang gliding and paragliders and hang gliders use it as a launch point and landing area. You may see a paraglider landing on the point if you are lucky!

Found a drone controller on Poo Poo point trail (the flat area where you can see Mt Rainier). Please reply or DM me if this is yours with a description of the controller. Trying to make sure it finds its owner.

Great hike close to Seattle. Rocky but well maintained trail. Fun to watch the paragliders at the top on a sunny day. You will have lots of company.

2018/06/02 Saturday (Hiking Date). Very good hike. Lot of crowd. Paragliding at the same point. Near to Issaquah Front street. Has designated parking lot but small. I would go there again.

I went on this hike twice. It has a nice view and you could see people jumping off for paragliding. The trail is well marked and easy to find your way to the top. There’s an incline most of the way to the top but the incline isn’t steep. This is a good beginners hike and the views are definitely worth it.

This is my go-to trail. No discover pass required and its close to my home. Its short enough to be completed within 2 hours, but has enough elevation to get a good cardio workout.

At the first viewpoint, you face south and should see Mt Rainier. On a clear day like today, I should've been able to see it. However, I haven't seen any traces of Mt Rainier for a while now. I'm guessing its due to the smoke caused by wildfire.

The second viewpoint is much better with N and NW views. This is the paragliding launchpoint.

For those looking to go to Poo Poo point via an easier trail, take the Chirico Trail that ends in the same spot and has a lot more parking and is 50% of the length. 6.8 miles is longer than you think - do bring a lot of water and good shoes. Both this and Chrico are rated as moderate, but you can bring beginners on the Chirico Trail to Poo Poo point, this is certainly not a beginner trail.

The view is the big payoff, the hike not so much. You should choose this hike only if you are looking for a workout as the trail is not that great except for the bridge.

Very first Hike and went solo, went well, mild traffic up and down, people were nice, pretty light in my opinion but the view at the top was phenomenal! Highly recommend for beginners/pretty quick hike

Went on this hike on July 21. We started at the highschool because the parking lot was completely full. By 9am. This was harder than I thought. The trail was a constant incline, and hardly any switch backs, which in my option, makes for more of a difficult hike. Trail was Well marked and maintained. Bonus we got to watch paragliders.

crouded, but good

This hike is tougher than others make it sound. I would do this again, earlier or later. I went at 7 AM and it was still crowded. Gushing with people when we came back and tons of people who didn't pick up their dog poop! The trail even provides bags at the bottom. It was cloudy so I didn't get to experience much on top. Perfect for those who are in the city to get away, but I wouldn't drive more than 1 hour to do this hike. The bonus is that you MAY get to see paragliders.

Tougher than we thought it would be. Constant elevation gain. Nice trail though and it was fun to watch the paragliders taking off at the top.

Not easy to find the starting point. We went up to poo poo point from high school (3.8 miles) and returned via chirico trial (1.7 miles). Nice views of the area and mount Rainier. Also it was nice to see someone paragliding from poo poo point.

Great hiking trails...

The hike itself wasn’t bad, nice incline and a great little work out. However, the view at the top wasn’t that great. Don’t get me wrong, it was still beautiful but not like some of the other views I have seen. Not bad at all, glad to say I did it but wouldn’t do it again.

great trail but more difficult for out of towners to find the start of the trail

Great view and a good place to paraglide. Had my first spontaneous paraglide there. Downhill is a bit slippery, will need professional hiking shoes to ensure the grip.

Don't go too late. Very difficult to navigate down hill in the dark. Whoops lol.
