Nice broad, flat trail for the mobility impaired. We saw seals off the point, a baby and two adults.

WalkingGreat!

I’ve been here 3 times over the last month and really love it. It is official one of my favorite beaches due to the driftwood, shells (hit and miss), various birds and other wildlife like sea lions and otters. It is a short walk but decent if you catch it at low tide and don’t mind climbing over a few large trees.

HikingGreat!

Trail was easy, clean and well kept. It was nice and peaceful in the woods. There was someone walking with a lot of dogs off leash. I could only see 5 but believe there were more. Some people were masked up but not all. No sanitizer in restrooms so good to bring your own. It was beautiful and I am looking forward to going back there.

It was a nice walk with the pups and a great view if it’s a clear day, best to go during low tide.

Nice trail with views, can feel the ocean breeze. Variety of plants and flowers, and several kinds of birds. Easy walking except a steep rise with stairs at the midpoint. A nice afternoon stroll.

Nice walk along the beach, with sights of seals and birds. Washed down trees at places, but not difficult to cross over.

I’ve walked this trail, or sections of it, more times than I could count since I was a kid. The highlight is always the beach section. There may be more beautiful places on earth, but this one is part of me. So many memories woven into it. All that said, it’s a short, easy walk. Your enjoyment of it will depend mostly on the weather.

Great walk though short. saw an osprey eating a salmon in a tree. somewhat daunting stairs turned out to be pretty short. trail otherwise level through some nice big trees at the top of the bluffand along the beach. you can enter from either end of the trail. go at change of tide to see the rip and good sea birds.

Great for kids, or just an easy day to kick back for a nature walk and hangout on the beach. Starfish, crabs, fish, herons, peregrines...and make sure to look up at the treetops...bald eagles.

Great easy trail. Beautiful views of the sound and Whidbey Island. Stopped at a cute bakery on the way out of town. Super windy on the waterfront and chilly time of year, but probably a great picnic spot in the summer!

This is a nice little hike. It goes from beach to forest. I think it would be best to start at the forest end and walk to the beach.

Watched a pod of orcas swim past, learned about clamming at low tide, took in the history of the lighthouse, climbed the 92 steps and thoroughly enjoyed both beachy and foresty aspects of this short trail from the lighthouse.
