First and foremost it was beautiful, and majestic. The hike is steep so keep this in mind if you’re bringing children. Trails have been worn down significantly by tremendous traffic. I would give this trail higher ratings if not for being completely overrun. Expect lots and lots of people, single file at some points. Hats off to the rangers who somehow keep the trails clean. If you are a photographer you will find plenty of opportunities to snap picturesque landscapes. Even a marmot or two (they are not shy)

The fog was covering most of the views but I could still tell how much potential the trail had. Definitely want to go again someday!

Well defined with beautiful views and wildflowers throughout. Chilly, but you warm up quickly with the steep elevation.

Wow, what a beautiful hike through rolling meadow. We went clockwise, and the incline wasn’t too bad, a bit steep and rocky near panorama point. We also went up the Camp Muir trail to get some more of a strenuous hike. For in shape hikers, I’d say it’s more on the moderate side. Great views of myrtle falls on the way down, be sure to check it out.

Six out of 5 stars! If you are in Mt. Rainier for multiple days save this hike for last. If you do this first everything else will be a disappointment

The parking was fine, the views were stunning, the crowds for a Thursday at 3pm were ridiculous. The amount of people on the trail definitely took the fun out of it for me.

Very crowded trail even starting at 7:30am. Areas near paradise when getting back near viewpoints requires the most people dodging. Plenty of parking available at 7:30am.

Truly beautiful trail. Has everything you can think of.... meadows, wildflowers, streams, waterfalls, snow capped mountains, glaciers, mature trees & more. The only thing that would make this better is if my dog could join. It’s definitely developed enough that it should be allowed imho.
