It’s a little tricky to follow this exact route. It was a little muddy as you get to cross the creek. But it was all fun!!

Beautiful short hike with crystal clear creek and small waterfall. Lots of bugs in the evening, but always a Spokane gem.

It was really overgrown. You can barely see the creek. We didn’t encounter many others, but we also didn’t find the waterfall. There really are a surprising amount of sketchy people in the area, and we carried just incase. I’m glad we did because even with our 3 dogs, I felt better. Nobody messed with us of course! Just surprised by the sketchy people around. It’s pretty easy to take some wrong turns, we definitely did. The wrong turns, the smoke from the wildfires, and the overgrowth made me just give up instead of actively seeking out the waterfall. I do plan to do this hike 1 more time, but again with my husband and while carrying. I want to find the waterfall, but after that I don’t plan on frequenting this trail anymore, which is a shame bc it is so close!

This trail is amazing! Beautiful diverse scenery. Off the beaten path ( the way to the waterfall). Beautiful waterfall and cave like structures. Some places the path is lined with brush taller than me (6’1”). Cons: limited parking, hard to stay on mapped trail without taking a wrong turn. Ps. To get to the waterfall you will need to cross the stream multiple times (wet and muddy areas), there are rocks and logs across these areas, so if you choose your steps carefully you can stay dry and clean. This trail felt like a real adventure! I took my time to explore, take pictures, and recover from wrong turns :)

Nature tripsGreat!

The trail itself was fun once you get off the gravel road. Once you get to the cove where the waterfall is and everything opens up, its amazing. Perfect place for kids to play! We will definitely be back.

The trail itself wasn’t bad. However the views weren’t what I had hoped for. There was lots of overgrowth in the way of the stream. Climbing over parts of the stream was fun! But parts of the trail were occupied by lots of people. It made me feel uncomfortable alone to go near the cave and waterfall at the end due to others being there. It was muggy, buggy, and hot. Perhaps another day would have made the difference to me.

Mixed feeling about this trail. Really pretty and fun little trail but lots of evidence of people camping out and some possible drug activity. My parents said it’s been like that for years. I brought a friend and pepper spray... was glad it did.

So awesome this time around. Have been to the falls a couple times but took a more adventurous route this time. Highly recommended.

Mystic Falls in Indian Canyon Falls trail - This was one of the best waterfall family hikes we have done in Spokane. What a great adventure to just get lost and find an obstacle course leading to this secret waterfall and cave! It was a great scavenger hunt. There were red arrow markings leading down to the hideaway trail and you cross through water, logs and hop on rocks...it’s awesome! There are two ways to get there. We headed straight, but then took a quick right. Then we walked downhill a bit and got to an open hideaway. The cave was a real treat for the kids.

It was AMAZING! So much fun. The trail down to the waterfall takes longer than expected but is totally worth it! Make sure you have good traction on your shoes if you plan to hike up the side of the canyon at the waterfall.

Was a fun hike. Yes its still muddy, and you do have to cross some creeks. Kind of hate how you have to look at your phone the whole time to make sure your on the right trail. All in all a good hike

The kids and I love this trail. It's not our go to but it's a good one to use for a relaxing stroll. The path we always use is not a true trail but allows us to climb over rocks and play in the stream. The waterfall is small but you can go right up to it and feel the spray on a hot day. Definitely recommend everyone visit at least once!
