Beautiful hike going up, and a nice view at the top. Unfortunately you cannot go inside, so that was a bummer. Still worth the climb, though.

This is a muddy and wonderful trail. A lot of it is in need of repair. If you are looking for a leisure, easy walk this is not it. Which is probably why I liked it so much. A lot of salamanders. My wife and I got soaked in April showers on this hike and loved every minute of it. Both ends of the trail are in great shape and there is evidence of a lot of trail work going on. In between though is a different story, the trail is tore up.
