Both the North & South Twin are fantastic routes. The North Twin can be done in a day, the South Twin is usually a two day trip but could be one long day for experienced backcountry endurance athletes. The best way to find / access this trail is buy a copy of Scrambles by Matt Gunn. To the person asking about how you get to the trailhead, bring a mountain bike. The gate is locked for logging vehicles so you’ll need to push your bike up a long hill (yes it’s that steep but super fun to ride down). Use the navigation on the map to make sure you’re going to the right spot. Depending on logging activity the roads will be different than marked. The only thing blocking your view is Mt Baker. You can see as far north as Black Tusk, as far west as Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. Definitely worth the effort.

A great scramble. Certainly not a hike.
