Good time. Too many motor bikes

Good trail, a little muddy and a popular motorbike/four wheeling area! Highly recommend the views at the top are worth it. Also can take vehicles all the way up if you don’t have time for a long hike.

We attempted this hike today. The trail is muddy and rocky but is a steady climb and gives a decent workout in a relatively short distance. The downside is they are logging toward the top and are telling people that the area is closed even though there are no signs indicating such. Without seeing the view from the top, this hike is a decent option that isn’t too far from home for us.

This is a fun trail. Make sure to keep your map handy because you can get off on different trails, which is still fun. I had service almost the whole time. YOU WILL WORK. I hike at least 1-2 days per week and I was out of breath on some parts. It’s SUPER MUDDY and rocky so wear your OLD hiking boots!

Only crossed 2 motor bikes in last half mile. trail to summit not marked once hit the road where the all trails dots also stop. well maintained until then. overcast today so plenty of shade but probably a nice mix when sunny. views are more on return, through the tree breaks. summit anti-climactic. good choice for us today given trail surface and location. we wanted a summit but didn't have the oopmh for any tougher uphill today.

This is a great trail despite how rocky it is; however, the motorized vehicles make it too noisy to be enjoyable. Also, there are broken beer bottles & other items on the camping areas.

Trail was awesome. Multi use for ATVs, BMX, and hikers. Very friendly and respectful interactions with the ATV riders we encountered. Got almost three miles in when the trail goes off into an unmaintained wilderness scramble. Would bring trail markers if attempting this last half mile into the unmarked wilderness.

I went down the rock candy trail and it was beautiful. I clearly went the wrong way but the way I went was a very nice, short day hike.

As far as exercise goes, you will be sweating. There were a lot of puddles to circumnavigate. Disappointed that you can drive all the way to the top and there were lots of beer cans around. Whatever happened to leave no trace? Part of this trail is very tough at the end. But it was the fun part. Definitely off my bucket list and won't be returning. There are a few views but not at the top. Unless you consider fire pits and beer cans a view.

Best to do this time of year when Motorized vehicles aren’t allowed. It’s definitely a grunt, but pretty at the top!

This is not only a logging area, but the trails are also primarily used by dirt bikes/ATV’s, so unless you want to potentially run into one around a blind corner, I can’t recommend this trail for hiking. Also, an extremely rocky trail.

I love coming here when there is snow. It is easy to get lost around here, so he familiar with your surroundings or have a map
