HikingFeeGreat!

Easy and gorgeous! There was quite a few ppl along the trail that's next to Lake Washington but other than that, we hardly saw anyone. Trail was in great condition and everyone was wearing masks!

Great number of options through St Edward’s park. Hard to park on a weekend. A little muddy but not too bad after a couple dry days in Jan

This is a great community hiking trail. The uphill is a little bit more than easy. Nice for walking with dog.

Hard to follow without a real time map. Trails not well marked. We ended up taking a different, shorter version. Quiet, nice walk, a couple steep parts.

Great evening walk. Heard a pretty big animal roaming around South Ridge though.

Modified this a bit by going on the South Ridge instead of the canyon. This is a nicely maintained trail with moderate to heavy traffic from hikers and joggers. It doesn't smell as good as other forest walks, probably because of the lake. We heard a big animal crashing around in the underbrush near the start of the South Canyon portion, so watch yourself out there.

The canyons are nice, as is the walk along the water (scenic part). Top is a wall through the woods that is shared with mountain bikers, but they don't go too fast because of limited sight distance. Good workout that's not far from home for people who live in the vicinity.

Muddy

The half closest to the water is worth checking out, but the rest was either along a road or near a noisy playground - so not a super relaxing walk. Also a bit confusing to navigate, as signs were either missing or didn't actually have trail names. Water access was nice for the dogs!

some nice hiking, but not safe for trail running unless very experienced. traffic noise and offleash dogs marred the overall experience

I took my dog down the Seminary trail then back up the North trail. Was really beautiful. The Seminary trail is great for kids!

90% easy/10% moderate hike. Super popular and well-maintained. You hike next to a lake for some of the time. It’s almost spring, 60 degrees, and little ducklings all over the sparkling water. Such an adorably-quaint hike.
