The road up wasn’t bad pretty well maintained, but once you turn on to NFS Rd 2530 you will find some deep potholes. The road narrows into one lane so be cautious of other vehicles as the corners have overgrown vegetation too. The trail has a steady up hill pace till you’re just about around the corner. The falls wasn’t heard till I rounded the corner. As you approach there is a split in the trail... one section continues up to a sitting bench *but has parts washed out so watch your step* the other heads down toward the base of the falls. The lower trail requires some climbing over downed logs and slippery rocks to get across the creek, but if you manage to do that you can trek up the far side halfway up the falls to the middle point/ water hole.

Very worth the drive. Watch out for a few MAJOR potholes on the drive up. There were just a couple places on the trail that got kinda skinny with a sheer drop off, so watch kids closely.

Short, but sweet hike to a gorgeous waterfall, with lots of exploring for kids at the end. My 11yo loved it. Like the previous reviews said, watch out for the potholes on the way up. Didn’t see a sign at the actual trailhead, but it’s a fairly obvious opening.

Beautiful easy little hike! A girlfriend and I did this hike with our kids, ages 2, 4, and two 6 yr olds. They all did it no problem! Beautiful falls! A little steep area by falls.

Great view of the falls, nice hike, worth the bumpiness driving out there, careful of the potholes.

Tons of potholes when you get off the paved portion of the road. Beautiful nice hike. Going down to the waterfalls is a little tricky and steep b.it well worth it!

Took my 2 young nieces (ages 4 & 6) here for their first waterfall hike. They loved it! The trail gets a bit narrow and had a few places where it is eroding out but we held hands and they did just fine. There were some flowers blooming, trillium are done but rhodies are still going. Saw some neat mushrooms. Would definitely recommend a visit to this pretty falls. Take it slow on the road in and you should be fine.

Fun little afternoon hike. Not challenging at all. Great for a family! My 4 kids (3yr-9yr) did great! It’s worth the long un-paved bumpy drive!

Easy hike with stunning waterfall at the end. Potholes on the way to the trailhead are serious but most can be avoided - small cars should have no issues accessing this hike.

For an easy hike there was a lot of exploring you could do to make it more fun if you had a group of different level of hikers!

Beautiful hike. The road is was treacherous. The pot holes are no joke. we hiked down to the bottom and explored all the diffrent drops in the falls. steep but lots of fun.

Beautiful hike, kinda steep in some areas. pretty wet, slick rocks, and some narrow edges. I'm a bit out of shape, and made it just fine. My teen enjoyed it too, wouldn't bring the baby to this one, and deff not stroller friendly.

Had to walk up the road the last mile due to snow and ice on road even with 4wd. Fantastic walk though.

Easy and beautiful. The trail was a little wet but nothing hazardous unless you’re climbing down to see the falls up close. The drive to the trail is a little iffy, only because there are so many huge potholes everywhere. Easy hike, will do again soon!

Loved it!

I have hiked this several times. Great little trail to bring kids on! My four year old mad it up this last summer with some hand-holding and assistance in narrow areas (we stayed up at the lookout and didn't descend to the falls). Last summer my 9 year old made it just fine and we did go down and dip our feet in on a hot day. Very pretty. Just don't be like me and fall in trying to get a photo....the water stays cold! (: In the summer the lot can get full, but I've never had too much of an issue finding a place to park. Short, but sweet.

The trail was clean, no snow but cold. Not very busy but the falls is gorgeous!

Nice hike for the view you get. It’s short, do plan some other hikes or adventures in the area to make it worth the trip. The ride in is a bit rough, so go slow on the roads.
