This hike is great. I was only able to complete the first 7 miles or so due to gear issues. The first 2 miles are a nice warm up for a BIG climb over the next 4 miles. Around mile six or seven there is a really nice meadow with a small pond that was a perfect spot to camp for the night. This was a great hike with some incredible views and great shade on hot days. I'm really excited to come back and finish the rest of this loop. The only thing to be aware of is that there is a dead horse at the bottom of the water fall that takes away from the beauty of the falls a bit.
