Really beautiful forest and some views over the SanJuans and over to the Olympic peninsula.

Hiked from peak to false summit an back to peak along road. Great well maintained trail though narrow and a bit exposed in some sections. Would be even nicer if they made a trail that allowed a loop around the summit plateau, instead of using the road. Sunset at the lookout tower is magnificent.

Great hike, lovely trail. Views at the top were beautiful. A little difficult due to lack of sleep but overall great hike and views!
