Mission Peak Via Marion Lake is a 6.8 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Wenatchee, Washington that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and bird watching and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
This was a very easy hike with a lot of tree cover and flora to see along the way. The trail stops at Marion Lake, though. I tried to find my way through the shale rock but didn’t want to risk falling so I didn’t make it to Mission Peak via this trail. The Lake was lovely and peaceful and I took my break just sitting and enjoying the quietness. As I was heading out, there were many coming in. I did take a detour a walked for a bit on another trail because I felt like I needed more time out in nature and it seemed like a nice trail, too so I’ll need to go back and finish it some time. I recommend this trail for families and anyone who wants a pleasant hike.
Great trail. Gradual incline and steep in parts. Little to no bugs
