From Randle, drive south 1 mile on Highway 131 to Forest Service Road 25. Stay to the right and drive 19 miles to Forest Service Road 99. Turn right and drive 11.5 miles to the signed trailhead on the right.

Nice easy trail with pretty views.

Quick paved trail to the lake. Platform was flooded as the lake was high. Saw lots of tadpoles swimming.

This is a nice easy walk for a tourist or the elderly. This is not a hike or a spectacular destination. If you are touring Mt. St. Helen's then this is a nice brief stop. Its a pretty lake and a 2 minute walk.
