Fun, beautiful walk through the woods. At the end you are rewarded with the beach.

I love this trail for a quick workout. It's pretty quiet on the weekday mornings, so you're able to hear the water flowing and birds chirping. My kids do well going down, but we have to stop a few times going up (they are 5 and 9). They love playing at the beach though, so they ask to go back. If it's a nice day, get there early, otherwise good luck with finding parking.

We loved this short, beautiful hike. Beautiful trees through the forest to the sound! Slower on the way back up, but very do-able.

Bring your frisbee, football, towels and a windbreaker. The kids had loads of fun at the beach and loved the landscape on the hike.

Great hike through the forest to the beach. Happened to go during low tide. The walk back was much harder since it was mainly uphill, quite an elevation difference. Made this 2 mile hike seem much longer. It's been raining a lot here but the trail was not nearly as muddy as I thought it would be. There were only a few muddy spots. There are bathrooms before you go through the tunnel to the beach, nice!
