Hiking

Great hike with kids (5,3,11 months) was a little busy for a Tuesday morning and not the very well marked. I had to use the all trails map to find our way. But the trail is well maintained with lots of bridges and boardwalk.

So so peacfull. I loved it. March is a bit muddy but there were alot of boardwalks to keep your feet dry. I shot a YouTube video there and check it out for more pictures of the hike "Betty Bears nomadic travels." Kid friendly and a beautiful piece of the great north west. loved it. Betty

Wasn’t as muddy as I expected. Not as many people either so all in all it was a nice hike. Finished just as the rain was starting.

Went for a run with my dog. Muddy and some areas are flooded. Scenic and would go again when it’s dry out. Nice benches to sit and relax with kids. Great for older and younger folks/kids looking for a leisurely walk and to enjoy nature/the ducks!

An easy walk & nature soak. Suitable for all. Expect some minor muddy trails during the winter months, and if you time it right, you may get to see salmon spawning (usually Oct - Dec). The pond is beautiful even in the winter, and is spectacular in the spring/summer. Only 3 stars as it is very heavily trafficked, and you can hear the residents living around the area as well as cars on Delphi Rd for a good portion of the trail.

Easy trail, but not at all boring. Great for all ages. Very well maintained. Take all of the little “extra” trails that leave the main trail to find little treasures and views of the creek. Great year around.

Fun, beautiful trail with lots of cool lil views. We caught the salmon that DIDN'T make so the viewing bridges dont smell fresh lol we ended up only doing the shorter trail (pond loop) cause we got hungry lol but next time we'll do the foresty/connector trail.

Nature tripsGreat!

This is my favorite spot right now. I went with a friend to watch the salmon spawn; it was spectacular. I keep returning every week: rough-skinned newt, red- backed salamander sightings. You can always hear & sometimes see the ravens. Check out the beautiful Wood Ducks on the pond. Yesterday I got SO many photos of SPECTACULAR fungi! I prefer rainy, wet hikes & this trail is great for that. All trails are currently one-way due to COVID, so please be mindful.

It is a nice, easy trail. Nothing exciting, just in the woods. A creek.
