9/22/2019. Beautiful short stroll through the woods to a lovely waterfall. The last little bit is incline, but easily attained. Great as an add on hike as we did on our way back from Hoh Rain Forest.

A lot of stairs at the end. I’d say it’s longer than .75 miles each way also. I’d recommend Sol Duc over these falls for ease of hike and reward at the end.

Good hike. Started at Lake Crescent Lodge to Maynard Waterfall then on the way back climbed Storm King to watch the sunset behind the mountain from the top. Maynard Waterfall was a very easy hike very fast and beautiful. Storm King was a beast! Lots of switch backs and loose dirt. it was hard on the lungs up and hard on the knees down but the views from the top made it worthwhile. Sorry the recording is off at the end I forgot to turn it off until we started to drive away.

No need to show the discover pass and there are free parking. You can see too much mosses tree it was amazing atmosphere. Really recommend place.

Very pretty fall. We went on a very slick and icy day and it was a struggle for us as well as everyone we passed on the trail. Doable, but we were all sliding and it was a steep trail at the end leading to the falls. If concerned about having good footing then I would be aware of what you may encounter here IF it is icy. Some stairs and two bridges to cross. But railings almost all the way on the steep part so that was a perk. Would imagine in the warmer months this is an ideal hike!

We started out early in the morning, had the whole trail to ourselves until the very end when a young couple caught up with us. Love the effort made to make the trail manageable with steps at the end. Have a bad knee but the trail was manageable and enjoyable especially in the beginning it was an easy stroll.

Great short hike when visiting Lake Crescent, my family has been coming here for more than 40 years. The old growth is awesome and the falls are quite pretty. Great for kids but keep them close after crossing Barnes Creek. There are several log bridges with simple handrails and steep drop offs near the falls. Saw a child rush across log bridge, slip and fall into ravine below. Banged up with bloody nose but not seriously hurt.

Amazing trail. Giant trees along the route but very easy hike. A couple nice viewpoints of the waterfall. The trail kind of keeps going into a well established but sketchy trail to a set of upper falls. Be very careful if you do that section though as it gets a bit slippy and really close to the edge. Not an official part of the trail.

Went up last week and it was beautiful seeing everything covered in snow and ice. The steps were pretty icy but good hiking boots will help keep you off your backside.

Great little hike, nice and easy, I took my 9 yr old. There is a bit of a climb up to be able to get to the viewing point of the falls, and it's a little steep going down. Would most likely be a bit challenging for someone with with achey bones. All in all it was a beautiful trail for us who at the time of going were newbies to hiking.
