HikingGreat!

We went here yesterday at around 2, but the parking by the trailhead was super packed. Thankfully, I knew there was a path to the trail from the Crescent Lake Lodge, so we parked by the lake and walked a little bit before landing on the official trail. We ran into a moderate amount of people, but almost all wore masks and practiced social distancing. It was more difficult to stay 6 feet apart when we got to the lookout, but most people cleared after about an hour. After that, we enjoyed mostly people-free photos and views! The hike wasn’t difficult and could be done in just sneakers. The waterfall itself was beautiful and worth the quick walk. I definitely recommend coming here, if you want a short hike for a pretty view. The lake is also close to the trailhead, so once you’re done hiking, you can come down and view the blue waters of Lake Crescent!

Definitely worth it but also a bit crowded as you get to the waterfall.

The hike was beautiful! It gets a little steep at the end, but they have stairs to climb toward the falls. My mom who is 65 and has difficulty walking was able to do this hike (at a slower rate).

Easy and beautiful at the top! There’s some nice incline up to the waterfall but it’s short lived.

Great trail for kids and some beautiful stops along the river to play. Really crowded though and hard to maintain social distancing, towards the upper part of the loop to see the falls.

Nice payoff for a short hike, waterfall is pretty tall -- trail to get to it is easy, wide and has a number of large trees for photo ops.

Easily now one of my favorite hikes in Washington! It’s short, steep, grueling, yet exciting and fun with the ropes - and jaw-dropping (& kind of terrifying!) views! Afterwards, we hiked to the nearby waterfalls and just felt amazing. We will definitely be back again! Not for the faint of heart or with small children or dogs. Enjoy!

This was a pretty trail but overcrowded with discourteous people who do not step off. There are parts of this trail that are impossible to social distance and people get into your space. The National Park service should really step in and make the narrow lollipop portion of the trail one way to avoid congestion and help maintain social distancing.

Hiked 7/3/2020. Wide and level until the end which requires some stair climbing. Shaded throughout

This was a great waterfall to see. They seem to get better and better every time we go to see a waterfall. Easy hike up in the last Little bit of the trail has stairs And a handrail for the elderly and children. Just a little muddy in spots but an easy go around.

Was not planning on hiking this day but couldn’t pass it up! Trail was very well maintained. I ended up doing the loop in a dress and birks with no issues.

Great weather. Nice shade. Not a whole lot of people. Trail was very muddy in places. Bridges were not slick at all. View was great. Very easy for an experienced hiker. Not a lot of bugs. Well worth the time.

9/22/2019. Beautiful short stroll through the woods to a lovely waterfall. The last little bit is incline, but easily attained. Great as an add on hike as we did on our way back from Hoh Rain Forest.
