Tough fisherman's trail, especially in waist deep snow. Continue to follow Marten Creek, and you can't get lost.
The trail is brutal. It was brushed and cleared in early August 2012. The last half mile is a struggle. There are trout in the lake and the scenery is worth the hike. Please help keep this trail alive by taking loppers and helping to keep the brush cleared from the trail. This hike is worth the work. A switch back or two on the last half mile would make for a less strenuous finish.
