Easy but beautiful hike that weaves through the forest along a spring fed creek with massive trees covered in moss and ferns. We took a branch in the maple Glade loop over to the Kestner Homestead trail which adds another 1.3 miles to the hike. Worth seeing if you are in the area.

A beautiful short walk through a beautiful area! Worth the stop - even in the rain.

Easy hike, very lush with lots of ferns and mosses. Very little elevation gain. Worth doing as part of the loop drive around the lake.

Fantastic in the winter. Chances to see frozen ferns and plant life in near-freezing water. Magical.
