Good paved path for a walking, running, or biking workout. There is not much shade and natural scenery is limited to glimpses of Mt Rainier and the river.

This is a paved trail that in some sections is shared with cars. It follows a river and the natural views are quite nice. The trail is quite wide in many places. I prefer a trail that is narrower as that seems more rustic to me. I also prefer unpaved trails but in places like Seattle it is probably a lot easier to maintain paved trails. There are numerous entry points to the trail and places to park. The whole thing is very nicely done.
