Directions from Sequim: Travel east on U.S. Highway 101 for approximately 2 miles. Turn off onto Palo Alto Road across from Sequim Bay State Park and continue to the Forest Boundary, at which point the road will become FS Road 28. Follow 28 for 1.1 miles to FS Road 2860. Turn right onto 2860 and go 3.5 miles to the lower trailhead.

Lots of fallen greens to navigate, left soaked to the bone but all in all a good hike!

Road conditions are in good condition just be a little cautious of the narrow road. The hike was beautiful and had plenty of views including a black tail only 5 feet from me which was pretty cool. Will definitely come back for the other trails.

A beautiful trail along the river, not difficult and with many great views. The drive in and out is a bit hairy as the road is narrow and has no barrier and a long drop off. I'll definitely go back again but the friend who went with me was terrified of the drive and will never go back! There are many hiking trails up in that area, can't wait to see more of them!

Beautiful hike. Lots of river views and mossy covered forested trails. We only did a mile in and back but we had 7 children. They were able to hike it all easily.

Beautiful trail! Hiking was easy to moderate! You'll enjoy the sound & beauty of the glacier rivers as you hike along side it. There are some Forrest service trails on the hike so it can be confusing if you don't have a map. :)

Hiked late March and it was fairly muddy. Snow still along the trail side. There was a creek and a beaver dam to see. Hiked with kids. Trail is not difficult but lots of modest ups and downs. Scenery was good. Some open areas in forest.
