just when you think you've had enough, you are there. first 2 miles, easy. then you go up, trail is a bit rougher. at the top you will get to a stream (for us a river) with a log across. My balance isn't that great so We went through the ice cold water. Discovered if you just follow the stream upriver, there is an easier place to cross at the lake. No shoreline, just logs, logs, logs. Still very beautiful. A couple of nice camp spots.
