Short hike, barely got my heart pumping. I would definitely rate this on the easier side of moderate, and only because the trail was a little difficult to pick out in the beginning due to some snow and a downed tree over the trail that you have to scramble around.
The marker for the lake is easy to miss as some have said, especially once you get by the snow into the forested area and get in the zone hiking it’s easy to pass it by. The lake is right at the end of the route, if you go over a little wooden walkway you’ve went too far. The turn right to the lake is right before it and is marked by a small sign on a tree trunk about 6ft above the ground.
Beautiful lake, quite a few downed trees that make nice spots to sit for a snack. Wasn’t buggy at all when we were there. Would recommend a light layer that’s easy to shed if you get cold easy, definitely would recommend boots or shoes with good grip due to the snow.
