Big fields, forests, trails, a pool, a beach. Just a great park right in the middle of West Seattle. Lincoln Park is West Seattles major multi-purpose park a nose-shaped bluff on Puget Sound just north of the Fauntleroy Ferry Terminal. Switchbacks on the north and gentle trails to the south connect a mile of seawalled, rocky beaches to a bluff of grassy forests and meadows with play and picnic areas galore. Amazingly diverse for its size, Lincoln includes 4.6 miles of walking paths, 3.9 miles of bike trails, five picnic shelters, acres of playfields, and an outdoor heated saltwater pool and bathhouse.

Beautiful clear path through the trees and by the shore. There are stairs leading down to the beach side if you go counterclockwise

Great views and very well maintained!

Really fun little trail in the city. If you’re taking dogs I’d recommend going counter-clockwise as there’s a water faucet/dog bowl at the bottom section of the beach trail.

Great path in the neighborhood, especially when it snows

Visiting Seattle before flying out - a lovely walk through the park and along the waterfront was a perfect way to end the evening.

Lovely with the sun shining! Only wish it were longer!

It’s good for walking, friendly with dogs. You can practise running as well. There’s a long trail along the beach where you can watch the ferry from short distance. The view is so wonderful. I really enjoy the sound of waves. The other trails are in the wood where you can see some small animals while walking along. There are also some playgrounds for kids and picnic tables; but they are separated with almost the trails in case you don’t like the crowd.

You can't beat the views along this trail. Getting down to the water is easy, and once you do- its absolutely gorgeous. I'll be back!

A great way to just 'get out of the city ' without having to drive out of the city. Beautiful area.

I took away a star because the bathroom stalls aren’t big enough to push a stroller into and there’s no changing tables. But this park is beautiful, I love the coast and environment. We’ll definitely be going back.

Nice and chill trail. Fun for all ages. Best time to visit is when the sun goes down and enjoy the sunset on the beach.

Recent wind storm made some trails inaccessible or closed off. Did make a decent hike out of it before the ferry

It's so close and easy to get to! In summer, I often try to be walking along the shore around sunset; I often go early for some sunbathing.

Most of what you do here would not be seen by most people as 'hiking' but there is a lot of 'forest walking' to do as well as beaches, picnics, a pool, etc. So if you are looking for a pure hike then dont come, but if you looking for a good park with some nice walks and you don't want to leave Seattle then this is a great spot.
