One of my favorite trails, something for everyone. Love the lake and creeks and so many trails off the main loop. Would come again.

Enjoyed the trail; the day temp was 99 but the trail is shaded most of the way. Had some good up and down segments that got the heart rate up, but great for a 70 yr old!

Wow! It is beautiful here. trails are well maintained and if you stay on the main trail its very wide. we tried some of the other routes, got lost a bit but found some amazing spots like Woodburn falls, so so so pretty, and we got to cross the creek which was a little challenging. you can Kayak, hike, picnic, swim, play on a playground, BBQ! its all around fun. will come back to kayak for sure.

Many poorly marked side trails. Highly recommend to map your hike on this app to track where you are. Overall enjoyed the choose your own adventure game.

This is a very pretty hiking place! Lots of forest and lake area with places to picnic. Unfortunately, I'm giving this place only 3 stars due to the place having muddled directions for paths or no signs at all on where trails lead. It felt more like a maze I was desperately trying to get out of rather than a place of enjoyment. I did have a map and I'm pretty knowledgeable on navigating with one, but this felt like way too much effort to understand what trail led where. A word of advice: if you want to make sure you don't get lost or end up on a random trail, only use the access road.

This trail(s) was awesome! There is SO much to do there. It was not muddy, and there were not a lot of people out. Will definitely be back with the dogs next time!

Very beautiful trail for all level ! It took me about 2h to complete it (low fitness level) and I took my time to stop for the views, take some photos and pet many dogs :) However it can be confusing and difficult if you don't have the map. There is only few markings and some roads got prioritized walkers/bikers. The hike isn't a 100% as shown in the map anymore, I had to improvise since a road became for bicycles only. But you won't get lost either with the map, just a small detour :) Overall one of my favourite hike at less than a hour from Portland !

This was a very enjoyable trail! A nice mix of gravel, dirt, and rocky trails. It was only a little muddy in some areas but it hasn’t rained much the last few days. We started at the lake and went counterclockwise around it and did the long part of the trail. The first part takes you over the dam and right next to the river for most of it. The waterfall was great, and some nice rapids along the way. The rest of the trail is mostly forest. Uphill for a little bit on the last part of it. Not too many people on a Wednesday!

Really nice, leisurely walk around a pretty lake. Did the first loop, about two miles, with dogs. The two mile loop around the lake is a wide path. Today (December 2019,) was minimally muddy. Gorgeous walk 30 minutes from Portland

Agree with many of the other reviewers that the trail is difficult to follow because of the sheer number of trails and a lot of unmarked intersections. The easternmost leg (Red Tape) is closed to foot traffic (bikes only).

Even though it’s super busy during the weekends during the summer with children and doggos, everyone is super respectful to both the trails and one another! I ran a random 7 miler, weaving in and out of both the large marked trails and offbeat paths and had a great opportunity to work on fancy footwork around peoples, rocks, and tree roots. You won’t get bored over here on these trails and there are benches to rest or stretch on if needed.

Beautiful trail especially near the waterfalls. Largely shaded. The beginning of the trail is heavily trafficked but the rest is not. Parts of this trail are hilly, rocky, muddy and/or with steep drop offs. Some trails are marked but many are not. Would wear hiking boots next time and would be wary of bringing my grandkids on parts of it. There is an unmarked restroom at one of the trailheads near the two picnic tables on the map. Also, the Far East part of the loop this app suggests is a one way only biking trail.

This was a great hike that was easy enough for someone out of shape like me, but still offered challenging sections. I used this map cause as people have said trails are not marked.

We loved this hike, beautiful views and waterfalls. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because the trails were not well marked. Be sure to take your GPS.

Super easy hike but it can be somewhat of a challenge to navigate if you aren't already familiar with these trails. Bring your map as some of the signs are worn or damaged and may be difficult to read. It's hard to get too lost in this nature area as it's nestled right in the midst of Camas so there are people/houses all around the perimeter.

This is a beautiful lake and so many options for trails! Great family & dog friendly place! Tons of place to take pictures of different falls. The lake is beautiful for fishing or boating. Biking is great also! This park just allows for so many different actives so close to the city.
