This trail gets quite a bit less love than many of the others in the area. The hike along Icicle creek for the fist 5 miles is quite pleasant and passes 2 nice camp sites. Once you hit the junction for Frosty Pass & Wildhorse, take a right. Here the trail begins to climb but never to steeply. Things to get quite brushy along the way to Lake Maragret so this trail is not recommended in wet conditions. There are several campsite along the lake, and you can continue to frosty pass and beyond for further exploration.

This trail offers a nice way to avoid the crowds in Icicle Creek Canyon. The later sections of the trail could use some brush control so likely not a good choice for a wet day (like mine was).
