Lake Augusta Trail is a 13 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Leavenworth, Washington that features a waterfall and is only recommended for very experienced adventurers. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Directions from Leavenworth: Travel north on Highway 2 to Forest Service Road 7905, just south of Tumwater. Turn right onto 7905 and continue for about 2 miles to the end of the road. Trail can also be accessed from Icicle Ridge Trail.

fall colors were spectacular. lake was stunning and solitude was awesome. it's actually 7.9 miles to the lake. I backpacked in for the weekend and did a triple summit if some 7700ft peaks in the area. it really does climb, climb, and climb some more but 100% worth it
