Relatively busy for Friday afternoon but people were spread out and trails were nice
A trip into the forest, waterfalls, lakes, and wildlife! Seems far away from the city :)
This trail was HEAVILY traveled today, being a sunny Sunday. Lots of families and very small children. I'm sure it would be a nice hike if it was even moderately traveled, but for me it was unenjoyable with so many people. The trail is narrow the further in you go, so you come in close contact with folks. Also, it's hard to enjoy nature with all the chit chat all around. Lots of dogs too, but I also have two. All were well behaved.
Very rainy today! Lots of big puddles in the dips on the trail, but no real mud. Beautiful!
Cute. At first was surprised by the comments about it being a rough trail and confusing because it starts out wide and well maintained... but to get to the falls and see the trails you go off the main path which is rocky and uneven and lots of roots. The main trail isn’t too hard to follow, but once you go off trail at all it can get confusing. No signs except at the main trail at main points. This apps map is not completely accurate... went in circles trying to follow a shortcut that showed on the app until I gave up on the map and backtracked. Might’ve been me Overall cute hike. Not worried about getting lost because there are plenty of people around, but there is potential to get lost if you’re not paying attention. Kid friendly? Yes it was a fun jaunt and it felt like you were deep in the woods and chasing waterfalls. Lots of fun with a kid. Great starter hike if you’re wanting to get a feel for a hike that’s a little less “trail” and more exploration.
Nice easy hike with a few hills, but not steep at all. Overall pretty sights, though im not a fan of dams or man-made lakes, the greenery was nice to look at
I liked this hike pretty well, they only thing that was a little weird is that there are tons of offshoot trails so sometimes it was easy to get turned around so I doubled back a few times. If you stay on the gravel road that’s easiest for Sharon however I did end up finding the falls and finally finding a lot more of the trail signs. My only complaint is that it was a little more crowded than the app said, it said not too many people but I encountered lots on the trail I was looking for a little bit more of a serene hike today.
Really nice easy trail! Perfect for running. Even saw people biking. The bridge and it’s views are both so pretty and it’s pretty easy to get down under it to the water. It branches off to a couple different trails. It eventually goes up to the trail by the potholes and you can honestly just adventure and go wherever and you find something neat.
This place is beautiful and close to my home! I went here alone but I can’t wait to bring my family! It’s not bad there a people but not too much. There are some trails that is pretty muddy but most of all it’s perfect!
