Pretty damn amazing. Saw a bunny. A deer crossed 6 feet in front of me. He/She social distanced unlike folks on the trail. Shame people.

HikingGreat!

This is a great trail. However, it’s not really a hike. It’s more like a good walk. It should be rated easy unless the rating is based on the amount of miles it is.

Walking

overall a very nice gravel, walking trail with lake views by a nice neighborhood. the parking lot had signs to warn you about high crime and to lock your vehicle though? nothing looked suspicious in the 2 hours i walked and hung out. the walk itself got better and better the longer I walked. mostly flat and some really nice views of the lake. nice greeny. if I lived here, i would do it again, but wouldn't go out of my way.

Cute easy trail. Out and back with a nice lake view. Majority of it is flat but there are a couple small hills. 95% gravel 5% paved. Went on a clear day and saw Mt hood-cool view. Did the full out and back trail in 2 hours.

Absolutely a nearby favorite! This trail is easy and gorgeous in its entirety. Lots of people and pets running, biking, and walking but never feels overcrowded.

Nice little walking trail. It was a beautiful day today so there were a good amount of others walking, running and biking. At the start of trail and near the lake there are signs warning people to not let their dogs near the water as it has blue green algae FYI.

Fantastic wooded trail with lakeside views. Mostly flat with a gently curving path. Can get a bit crowded at times, but easy enough to make room for traffic.

Hiking

This hike is very pretty along marshland and Lacamas Lake. However, it is widely used by urban hikers, joggers, cyclists and senior strollers and at points narrow. The 9 miles is out and back and could be extended another two miles by proceeding to Round Lake just a mile farther. A Fall hike would definitely show “colors”.

Hiking

High foot traffic. Nearly flat. Distance is slightly shorter than advertised (7.1), and the trail markers have it even shorter than that (6.5) even though the start and stop signs have it at 7.0. But, still good for side-by-side hike or jog along the lake. Good potential for bird watching.
