Nice, scenic hike

I went on 10/23/19. It was such a perfect day for a walk at kubota gardens! The weather and everything was perfect! I took tons of pics. I love going to this place and seeing all of the changes during each season. This visit was my favorite. The colors were really popping during my visit.

Great park in the middle of town. Very well landscaped with trails that weave through the area. There are a few small water falls with one medium sized one toward the highest point in the park. Enjoy the sound of trickling water as you stroll around and be sure to stop by the larger pond near the entrance/ exit as it has some good sized koi that live inside it. Very nice soft and green grass areas that make for an ideal spot to set up an afternoon picnic or throw out a blanket and kick back and enjoy nature or take a short nap. It really helps you relax and forget you’re in the middle of a busy city. * It can get pretty busy and crowded, especially on weekends * Kid friendly, but sometimes they can be loud which takes away from the calm relaxing atmosphere the garden is meant to create * Dog friendly, just remember to pick up after your fury friend... there was some “trail mines” that owners left behind

fairly crowded but enjoyable walk through garden and some wild areas.

Simple, easy trail. A couple spots have really nice views. There’s a small part of the trail you can walk through a “tunnel” of foliage which was fun. Too many people to actually get the japanese garden vibe.

Beautiful and nice place to walk

Really pretty garden to stroll or fast walk with your dog or a friend. I’ve been told each season in the Park is beautiful and brings something completely different to the table. Easy paths, dog and kid friendly. Several water features and areas to picnic. Not a place to get a great workout unless you walk swiftly around the the entire area. Special area of nature to escape the city.

This was definitely more of a walk than a hike. It was stroller friendly and just a great outing for me and my three kids (ages 5,3,1)

It’s more like a garden walk then a hike. It was nice and low key to just get out of the house.
