The trail is pretty easy. Even during the summer it is a little bit muddy. Take a snack and go down to the lake. You won’t regret your peaceful stop!

Unique lake with many dead trees rising from the water. Easy hike. A little washed out early on.

Fantastic scenic drive to the trail head, The Quinault area is amazing! Nice easy trail into the lake, well kept, clean, little frogs EVERYWHERE! Had a lot of fun on this hike, only downfalls were, lots of flies, and lake water LVL was low.

Beautiful area and mostly secluded.

The Irely lake trail is not exactly well kept, and there are many muddy mucky parts to get through. There are also a few places where the planks on the bridges are barely attached. However, for the more adventurous, it was kind of fun! Only one other group on the whole trail on a Summer weekend, so that was nice. Lots of wildlife and interesting plants, because it's in the rainforest. And the lake itself was pretty enough, but no real place to sit and eat a snack or enjoy the view if that's what your plan was.
Still, it was short but interesting
