easy, mellow, pretty. Good, not great. Worth doing once, for sure. It would also be fun to see this in different seasons, with different water levels.

Well marked trail, totally agree with others regarding the bumpy road, just take it slow and easy. We arrived at the parking lot around 9-ish. Plenty of parking at that time, and did not pass too many folks until our return loop push. Beautiful views of the river, and tree canopy. #MaskUp #PNWSummer2020

First time hiking here. Nice well maintained trail along the river. It was a hot day and fortunately the trees shaded the way. Beautiful scenery!! Discover Pass not accepted so bring $5 cash for fee.

Did both river and view trail on Saturday. It was BEAUTIFUL! It was very busy with people when we finished about 2pm, so get there early! the views were just.. incredible. we didn't have the map so got a bit confused at a couple spots, but there's okay enough signs that we made it fine. as people have stated before, driving in can be a bit (a lot) bumpy, but we made it fine in a kia sole, but we'll definitely take our SUV next time. Nothing too steep, but enough up and down to keep it fun. will for sure do this trail again

Fun easy hike with my family, and my brother and his wife. We went early before the crowds and the sun came out. Hugged the river for most of the hike. Would definitely do it again.

I am new to hiking, this trail was easy to do, and so beautiful! We brought our dog who loved cooling off in the water. I would recommend getting there early, we arrived at 10 am and the parking was pretty full.

Pretty scenery and easy trail. There’s about 3 miles of unpaved road before reaching the trailhead. Lots of shade so no need to worry about getting sunburnt. Would recommend using some bug repellant, and the wooden bridges were fantastic photo ops!

(Hiked Saturday July 25th) Great first post covid hike! Easy loop with very little incline. A good portion is covered, so no worries for sunburn. Along the way you will get great views of the creek, with a few spots to get down to it. Also spotted a bunch of small little streams throughout. The lot seemed busy, but we only encountered a few people during. All were courteous, maybe half wore masks. As for getting there, a majority of it is paved road. The last few miles are unpaved and quite washboard-y. We made it in our Kia Forte, but it was definitely a little rough! There is a 5$ fee to park in the lot.

Beautiful hike with lots of wildflowers blooming and butterflies. Great hike for views without elevation or no shade when battling the beat. Everything is well maintained (even the bathroom at the TH, which was clean, even if it was stinky). Busy when we were leaving a little after one.

We hiked this trail during golden hour and it was absolutely perfect. Not too many people on the trail, and just the right length before dinner. Lots of shade and views of the river. Beautiful!
