Decent trail. If you continue past mile ~5 (the junction with the trail to frosty pass) it gets very overgrown. There is an AWESOME campsite surrounded by the river on 3 sides after the second bridge, right before the junction mentioned above.

Absolutely gorgeous trail, but flat and very easy. Still worth it if you're not looking for challenge.

Very flat but so pretty - right along the creek. Perfect for beginner hikers

Easy, well maintained trail, even early in the year. Hiked over Memorial Day weekend in 2014. Trail is less used after French Creek Camp. Early in season expect snow cover the further West you go as you gradually gain elevation, and if things are melting prepare to get your feet wet. Be bear aware while taking this trail, we saw two very close to the trail as we hiked.
