This a camera-filling view walk. Very popular and that’s the problem. Almost impossible not to bump into others on the Sunday I was there.

Just exceptional views in all directions. Will take your breath away. It’s pretty saturated with people though. It might worth find another trail to get the same views but where fewer people congregate.

Beautiful hike. Baker was in the clouds but the views were still impressive. No spikes needed.

Do yourself favor and spend a half hour to hour.hiking this trail! There are numerous photo ops in the short distance. I went on July 29, 2020 and a lot of the trail was covered in snow....but it’s definitely manageable without crampons/mini-spikes. Enjoy!

LOVE IT! This is my favorite place and trail in Washington. We take our kids every summer. Beautiful, peaceful, in the clouds experience.

Did this on October 3, just before the road was closed. It was already snowing with ice on the trail. Fog prevented seeing more than 20-30 feet but it was still awesome. Saw ptarmigan and a fox.

We attempted this today however there was overcast and a lot of fog/ clouds so there was no view. That I can understand since we can’t control that but we anticipated a bit of a longer hike and a marked trail. We must have missed the signs (if there were any?) so we just ended up in a bunch of trails that branched off or just stopped randomly. This small adventure took us about 30 minutes total. Had it been a clear day I’m sure it would be beautiful and perfect for a light walk around but definitely not a hike for those wanting more of an adventure.

Awesome views of Mt Baker and Mt Shuksan Trail is well marked until you get to the fork in the “loop” then the trail branches off all over the place. I’m not sure which trail o was on but it doesn’t follow the All Trails route. Anyway it was fabulous seeing Mount Ranier 133 miles away! Super clear day.

Absolutely stunning views. Trails have a lot of snow up till late summer so beware. Check the road conditions before driving up, just Incase.
