A small but diverse park. Easy paved parking lot with bathrooms, walk across a small prairie then head up the hill to the tree line, plenty of shade and some great rock outcroppings.

Today I had enough time to climb the steep trail. It wasn’t that bad but very rewarding! All I could hear is the wind in the trees and different bird sounds. The views were gorgeous as well! I saw three tiny hummingbirds and a couple woodpeckers! Definitely doing this trail again! There was an amazing lady that I met today and a few months ago. She was picking up the plastic bottles that people leave behind and picking up broken glass pieces so that hikers and their dogs don’t get hurt! What a wonderful person! Please don’t leave trash behind and please don’t break glass! Thanks to this wonderful woman, you are absolutely amazing.

Very pretty but also very overgrown in places. Most of the trail is accurate as an easy rating except some of the very steep uphill sections.

A little confusing as trail is not marked, but easily adaptable (trail map came in handy) and many side trail options we will explore in the future. As another review mentions about not being intimidated by the hills, they are correct. Each uphill was gentle, just watch your footing. This is my favorite hike so far.

It’s a beautiful area and has a nice view but it is very intense uphill and downhill. I took my 2 year old in a jogger stroller. The downhill made me really nervous because it was so steep and covered with pine needles and that made it pretty slick. So I definitely wouldn’t suggest taking a stroller up the hill.

Took a very short hike after work today to enjoy the weather and get pictures of the mountain. The view was beautiful!

Awful, awful, awful for trail running specifically. Not marked and overgrown side trails. I spotted one wild chicken and a few pheasants. Intense uphill and downhills. It does have a good outlook however. The open area below looks pretty, but dogs must be kept on leash, so it isn't much use. This area should be turned into a development.

What an amazing area!! Loved every second!! If you aren’t a big hiker come here and you will be! The loop trail takes you on some trails that make you think you are backcountry back packing. Making me thing of little magical fairy trails. If you don’t hike very often, and you get here, see some of the hills DO NOT BE AFRAID! The hills are not deadly calf killers, they are gentle slopes that lead to some beautiful and magical moments and views! Loved loved it!!

It great for a quick trail that has uphill, downhills and flat. It’s probably really nice in early spring but pretty dry right now. Great for an after work walk

My final visit to Holmberg. The purpose of this visit was to test a particular loop route I thought would be a nice one to submit to AllTrails. I did a little extra wandering as well.
