Beautiful. Comfortable 9.7 miles of relatively flat out the Hoh River Trail. Then head north and gain 4000' in 5.3 miles to the lake - not so comfortable. But well worth it. We did the whole 15 miles in about 7.5hrs with full packs. One campsite is available at 3500', about halfway up the climb. Another around 4000' at CB Flats. I recommend pushing through to get to Hoh Lake. We camped at Hoh Lake before heading further north to the High Divide Trail the following day.

Lots of bears at Hoh Lake that kept to themselves on the north side of the lake. Compostable throne facing Blue Glacier and a solid bear hang at the camp sites. Very peaceful, would love to stay there again.

Give yourself plenty of time for this one! Hiking poles recommended!

Beautiful trail that follows the Ho h river. The rain forest is amazing with all the ferns, moss and huge trees.
