Beautiful trail. No fish in the lake

An easy trail that is great for a quick hike. There were a couple of downed trees along the trail, but they were easy to climb over. We had our dogs with us and it was easy to do with them. The trail is very obvious up to the lake. The lake is very clear and calm, very beautiful. I wish it was a little easier to explore around the lake, but the views were decent even still. I would recommend this trail if you're in the area. I saw a lot of reviews about bugs but this time of year there were none! Only complaint I have is another hiker who had his dog off leash. Please follow the rules and leash your dog.

Easy uphill half mile hike from Glacier View Campground. Hidden Lake at the end of the trail is very beautiful and serene. There was a beaver lodge on the opposite shore. I was there in early October - great colors from the changing tree leaves reflecting on the water.

Short but steep climb up from the campground to a beautiful little lake in the shadow of the mountains. If you’re looking for a more mellow hike, come in from the eastern trailhead off the dirt road before the campground.

We went during the week so no one else was on the trail or around the lake. The water was cold but worth braving. The bugs were not a problem for us.

Great short, easy hike. Went late on Saturday morning and it was pretty busy. nice view at the pond.

Nice, super easy walk through the forest to a small pond. Very popular so don’t expect to have the trail or lake to yourself. Pond is kinda overgrown, so you can’t really hike around it. Decent view of Nason Ridge and a couple nice “peek-a-boo” views of Lake Wenatchee. Like anywhere else in the area, can be very buggy so bring your spray!

snow shoe review- noticed no one has comment on going in the snow. We went in march for snow shoeing. Had to park about 3/4 of a mile from the trail head where they had stopped plowing. We went on a sunny day and hadn't had any fresh snow in about a week. we brought snow shoes but were able to hike in with out the shoes. Trail is easy to see and follow, and was well packed snow. We only encountered one other couple on a sunny Saturday. Beautiful hike, lake was snow covered, and no traffic.

Terrific trail, I got lost and ended up doing the loop! No need for bug spray in November! However, on a windy day, do bring your chainsaw as trees can fall across the road! I will attempt to attach photos!

My girlfriend and I spent the night at Glacier Peak campground and the next morning went up for a nice easy hike. The water’s color was amazing and surrounded by massive mountains

Short but pretty good view of Hidden Lake. The trail is in good shape and is well maintained. Plenty of parking at the trailhead. As with most places in this area, there are mosquitoes, so bring bug repellent.

This was an easy hike to a nice lake. Not too many people on a weekend but I am going to guess that is because of the mosquitos. This will not be a hike we do again because of the amount of mosquitos.

Easy trail with beautiful lake view. Bring mosquito repellent and the recreation pass. Last mile of road isn’t paved but manageable if you drive slowly. When you reach the stream at the lake, look for a log to cross it (it’s not obvious), to continue the trail and get better lake views. You can continue the trail down towards Lake Wenatchee to make it a loop/circular walk (at the end you will need to walk the gravel road back up to the car but it’s a quiet road). When you reach Lake Wenatchee there is a picnic and bbq area.

Easy hike. The last 1 mile of the road that leads to the trailhead is unpaved.

Easy fun hike. Great hidden lake views. Easy to prolong and make a loop going to lake Wenatchee on the way back.

Really nice little hike, very quiet and good views at the top! NB : We saw that a pass was normally required (Northwest forest pass, other local interagency pass - available at wenatchee ranger station or a day pass that can be bought at the trail in summer months)
