Exploring the flanks of Mt. Herman and the basins around Table Mountain Herman Saddle lies just west of Mt. Baker Ski Area and offers a easy climb to a superb vista that is coupled with excellent runs in two directions from the Saddle. This backcountry tour can be done in limited visibility conditions though your route selection must take into account the potential avalanche areas that lie along the tour's path.
