Herman's Peak is a 7.7 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Granite Falls, Washington that features a lake and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking and trail running and is best used from July until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

good hike even with the road closure, crampons are definitely a must for the last third of the hike to the top but plenty of splendid views before I had to turn around because of steep snow peaks.

The peak is not Herman's Peak, but Hermans Peak. It was named after Emery J. Hermans, the surveyor. Look it up.

Good hike, but was really cloudy so didn't see much of a view. The lake was real cool though. I will be doing this one again on a clear day.
