Not sure why this is labeled “moderate”? It’s a really flat, easy, walking trail. Beautiful views along the water. Locals walk their dogs on this trail. Lots of wildlife. Saw an osprey today. Have seen eagles also. When tide is out, a sandy beach fun for kids. There is a parking area within the housing development, just keep driving west and down to the water on Edwards Way. Or a small parking area at Kansas Ave with stairs leading down to trail.

Warning. Access to the trail is no longer available from the marina. If you can walk your bike down a couple of flights of stairs along a forest trail and down three more flights of stairs, you'll be rewarded with a great little paved path that's quite wide and has great views of the Guemes Channel. It will end at the beach next to the Ferry Terminal. Or just ride to the terminal and ride onto the path... out and back is about 3 miles.

An easy walk along a mostly paved path (some boardwalk and dirt too) but great to take a stroller. Pretty scenic views along the water's edge.
