Great quick trail when you’re short on time and need to get the dogs out. The small lake is nice to let the dogs play in but only before it becomes a mud hole. Lots of encounters with dogs without leashes which I don’t mind because the people and dogs have always been friendly. The trail isn’t too heavily trafficked in the mornings or afternoon. I prefer to go when there are less people.

Not too bad of a birding trail. A LOT of Towhees! Not much of a trail for sight-seeing or even strenuous.

Nice nature trail and my 4 legged partner enjoyed it too. For dog people, leashes are required and BYOPB. It looks like folks do pick up after their dogs but they don’t always have them on leashes. Which is rude. Parking is poor. There are a max of 4 spaces, if folks haven’t parked willy nilly, 3 if they have. There is street parking some yards away and you walk on the road to the park. There is also no signage telling you a park is even there. It almost looks like someone’s yard and you will miss it if you’re not paying attention. But, it’s worth the time if you want a nice nature hike. If you are in poor condition you might be challenged by parts of it.

My group was planning to walk this trail today. Unfortunately, we couldn't find the entrance. I went up and down Kaiser Road and there are houses where it shows the entrance. Parks & Rec person said to go to Conger St and then Rogers, so I don't think he knew how to get to the park either.
