Easy, pretty well maintained roads/trail. We headed down from Winthrop and came out through Chelan. Some tight spots, but nothing hard to pass. Great views the whole trip. We even saw a moose on the way up. We crossed paths with a number of adventure bikes and a caravan 4 days into a BDR trip starting in Oregon. Fairly quiet though. Great morning trip while in the area.

The road mapquest took us on was over grown and eventually not passable because of a brush type tree growing in the middle of it. We were in a keep wrangler so we were able to go way further than a car. Saw a few deer and one nice viewpoint of Chelan toward Stehekin. Did not hike Cooper Mountain

Amazing views can be found from multiple locations on this trip. Took us 6 hours to make the loop but we stopped and hiked a few times. If your into geocaching, you will find several along the way. Road is in acceptable condition, but you will want to be in something that isnt low to ground. Many hunters out and about, and very tight areas to try and let vehicles by. Recommend for people that like to sight see and love the outdoors.
