Golden Lakes Trail is a 15.4 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Orting, Washington that features a lake and is only recommended for very experienced adventurers. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from May until September.

Directions from Mowich Lake Entrance: Drive .6 miles east along State Route 165 to the trailhead on the eastern side of the road.

Great hike, different than the norm.
Not big on spectacular views of the mountain.
Mostly hiking in the forests.
The final four mile hike back up the hill to Mowich will get you.
This is a 22 mile out and back hike. Alltrails must use some Martian miles measurements.
