Brought my 6, 4, and 2 year old. Very muddy but overall a nice trail. The 2 year old gave up about 2/3 of the way in so we didn’t see the mine but enjoyed it nonetheless.

The hike to the cabin and mines is easy. There was a lot of water on the trail in some spots. Hiked to the top of the ridge. Made it to the top as it got dark and stormy. There was about a foot of snow. Made for a fun trek down with headlamps.

Pretty easy hike some cool spots as well as a second trail head that leads to a neat little cabin. Gonna go back tomorrow to explore farther
