Great trail for fall and winter, with plenty of off-trail opportunities to explore. It's an old, now washed-out, Forest Service road. The Dungeness River is beautiful in this area. The trail also connects with several other nearby trails and at one time wash the shortest route to Tubal Cain Trail.
I'm not sure I would even call this a trail. No signs, over grown game trail is more like it. muddy and slippery. little over a mile in and we turned around. no views.
