HikingGreat!

This was part of a larger hike. I would say as part of a larger hike that this lake is pathetic at this time of year, but looking over as you pass it, it is ok. The hike is a nice gradual climb and decline in spots. Don’t make a special trip for this though.

HikingGreat!

Hiked this on 9/16, very good trail but it was smoky and couldn’t see much. Will definitely go back and do it next time I’m in Washington . But from what I could see the view were still pretty awesome

I loved this hike! Although there wasn’t much cover, it did allow for some great views on the way to the lookout. In the morning the wind cooled me and my friend while we walked in the sun, less so past noon. A great length and difficulty to have fun and feel like you accomplished something. We started at 10, and was a little crowded. Wouldn’t start much later than that if you want some peace and quiet.

Excellent for a sunrise. Make sure to get out early because it gets busy by 7am. Amazing views, I would rate it a moderate hike.

Great views all around. Pretty easy up until Frozen Lake, then a bit of a steady climb the last mile or so up to the Fremont Lookout. Busy trail but it's wide enough to allow for plently of passing space.

Spectacular views of the sunrise from the lookout point. We started at 430 from the sunrise point, reached the lookout at 5 45. View of the rainier is spectacular as the sun comes up. Definitely recommend wearing layers as it’s chilly in the morning and even more at the lookout. The night sky was awesome on our way and at the sunrise parking lot. Highly recommended!
