Did a 55 mile ride around this area via dirtbikes. It is challenging terrain, must have an appropriate bike and at least be a very solid intermediate rider. Great scenery, well maintained trails, lots of elevation up and down. Obstacles include tight switchbacks, rocks, roots, very dried out soil or potentially mud depending upon moisture content. Some of the trails around here are for hiker only, and others allow bikes. The trails are unusually well marked. Big kudos to locals that clearly do an extraordinary job of maintaining this area.

Foggy Dew is one of my favorite mountain biking trails. It's a very physically challenging climb, and much of it is very technical. The ride back down is a blast.

We camped at the foggy dew campgrounds. We hiked pieces of the foggy dew trail. It's an easy 2 1/2 miles up hill to the falls. We drove to a nearby trail to hike to sunrise lake, about 6 miles round trip, more difficult, great views. Photos uploaded.
