Great hike! It’s a long haul to the falls, but completely worth it!!

Road to the trailhead is very well maintained for a forest service road. There are a few pot holes but they’re more like speed bumps and easily avoided, my Honda Civic had no issues getting there if you’re worried. Trail to the base of the falls is easy and short, if you want more of a challenge hiking to the upper trail #152 has some steeper sections. Couldn’t really see the falls from the upper trail but found some cool camp spots with a view for backpacking.

Very nice hike. Not very steep, except for the short trail that takes you up to the Falls Creek Trail #152. I went up to the base of the falls and then to the viewpoint above the falls and then completed the loop and my Alltrails app recorded 6.5 miles.

Relatively easy trail. Follows creek most of the way to the falls. Awesome little peekaboo of the falls from the trail before you get to the lower viewpoint.

Don't believe the negative reviews, there are plenty of signs and I believe only two pot holes that I can remember. The road is well maintained and you can easily get to the trail head in a car (I did) and there is a large parking lot with a bathroom. It was absolutely beautiful, the fall foliage is incredible right now. I did however almost hit a heard of Elk so be watchful on the main highway!

Beautiful falls from the base and very nice hike, but the signage is terrible, as is the road to get to the parking lot. We took a turn that we thought would loop around to parking, as described, and ended up turning an easy 6 mile hike into a 12 mile excursion filled with frustration. Download the map ahead of time...lesson learned!

Been up there twice in the last month. Did the short trail the first time, the long trail the second time.

Worth every step, and the rough forest service road to the trail head.

Very nice loop trail, all though the Falls Creek Trail #152 is more of a Mt. Bike trail and the rest of the loop is more for hiking. Falls Creek Falls Water Fall is very refreshing and great for pictures and videos. Cool camp grounds and swimming area up at the top.

it was a very nice and beautiful hike. There are lots of potholes but not as bad as some roads we've seen in Washington. The signs were minimal but that's why we have the All trails app and map. The trail was mostly soft and shady. The lower view of the falls was an oh my God moment. the upper falls and views looking down were nice of the valley but you can't see much of the lower falls. A short hike further is the small falls by a camp site.

Beautiful falls but due to poor signage and lack of signage it is very easy to get lost. The road up to the parking lot is absolutely terrible so I wouldn’t recommend going unless you have an off-road vehicle.

Nice peaceful moderate hike. The waterfall is spectacular. The last 2 miles of road to the trailhead is full of potholes.

Nice walk along a picturesque and melodious creek. Not crowded. Stunning set of falls thundering into a verdant bowl you can climb down into. The mist from the falls is a fabulous way to cool off on a hot day.
2 miles of rough road to get to trail head but not a problem unless you slammed your car.

I love this trail. Great walking path and fairly level. We only did the lower falls and then climbed up and took the trail back. Decided not to do the upper part, maybe next time. The hardest part of this trail is the short yet steep trail leading to the top.

3 snakes in about 8 miles on a hot, sunny day. Not bad!

Awesome hike, would definitely recommend. The beginning starts out easy with lots of ups and downs and follows a cute little river/creek for a while. Gorgeous views everywhere. The first waterfall is beautiful and bigger than I’d anticipated. You then can walk back a little while and hike a tiring incline to see a second waterfall and cool off in the river. Very beautiful, not that many bugs and an overall good experience. There is also only one pit toilet at the beginning

was great little trail not super long but reward at the end was pretty sweet

Beautiful and easy day hike. Upper falls aren’t nearly as pretty and could be skipped if you wanted to do a shorter hike

Beautiful hike. Make sure you go down to the lower falls too, that was the best part of the hike for us.

Beautiful hike! This is definitely a dog friendly hike if you wanted to bring your pup with you. Make sure you take time to enjoy the falls — it’s gorgeous!

The road has a good amount of pot holes so if you’re going to go in your car (like me) just go slowly.

Enjoy!

This might be my favorite waterfall hike. It was really beautiful. Most people were doing the out and back trail so on the loop back to the parking lot, we were the only ones on the trail. Highly recommend!

This was a long drive for us, coming south of Portland, but the trail and waterfall were totally worth it! We had a 1 (carried in a pack), 6 & 8 year old who did great on the trail and loved it. I would consider this trail heavily trafficked, but maybe because I'm not use to so many people. It's not like Multnomah falls, but there is a good sized lot at the trailhead for parking and it was full.

the falls were AWESOME. I'm asthmatic so trails with a lot of incline make me a little nervous but this wasn't too bad. my only qualm was with the road! the last 2 miles getting there is EXTREMELY hole-y. definitely have to take it slow to not ruin your car's suspension. (but it was also kind of apart of the fun)
