Hiked on 6/28/20 and the waterfall was even better than expected! The last road into the parking lot is quite bumpy so take a car that is prepared to get dirty and can make it through. The trailhead to the falls on the lower side along the river takes about 1.7 miles and isn’t too hard if you’re in good shape. The trail and waterfall was pretty busy on a weekend but you can find spots away from people if you venture around at the falls.

An easy hike to a gorgeous waterfall. The loop wasn’t the best marked loop but we made our way around, and checked out the falls for a bit, in a couple hours. Worth it for sure

Beautiful waterfall!! Went for my first time Saturday. If you are out of shape, the trail is a little rough, but there are plenty of spots to rest and catch your breath. Worth it once you hear the roaring of the falls. The road to the falls is full of potholes. Drive slow and you'll do fine.

Such a nice hike, easy for kiddos not to busy Saturday morning around 9. But coming down there was a line of cars going up.

Great spot with an amazing waterfall at the top. Trail is pretty busy these days, but if you hike all the way up to the top of the waterfall there are less folks.

Beautiful waterfall. Easy hike on a good trail. Lots of other hikers even though we went on a Friday morning.

One of the best hikes I’ve been on! The road was blocked off which added an extra mile or so each way (this was in early March). It was a super nice day. There isn’t any parts that are super steep which made it pretty easy to do. The majority of it goes along the creek so you can always venture down a little bit and sit by the water. It also is pretty shaded which is nice. The waterfall was gorgeous! I was able to climb up a little bit to see the upper half, however, don’t attempt it unless you’re confident in your balance, have good shoes, and are super careful. The rocks are still a bit slippery from the water and you could easily fall.

this is a great trail. the waterfall is beautiful. the second half of the trail is kinda overgrown and is mountain bike popular. the little spur off on the map is like straight up but when it levels out it's beautiful and has some dispersed camping. overall a good Thursday trail. bumpy road in but if you go slow you can make it. I drive a carola and I made it.

Great trail, I’ve got a medical condition so I had to stop a few time to catch my breath, it overall it was good, the waterfall was beautiful and so worth it. Not too difficult, like other reviews said the road at the end was very bumpy had multiple big potholes. My little Toyota carolla made it ok though

Beautiful trail, always a favorite! The falls are gorgeous and the trail isn't really that difficult. The falls can get crowded, especially on the weekend, so I'd arrive early if you want to enjoy the falls with fewer people.

Hiked on 6/6/2020. Great hike. Not too much elevation and it’s pretty gradual when it happens. Amazing view of the falls. We didn’t find the upper trail overly special but it was a lot more quiet to come back that way. Very shaded hike all around. Like other reviews said - last 2-3 miles of road before the trailhead are very rough.

I love this waterfall. Beautiful forest, we went on a rainy day- not many people. I definitely recommend.

Beautiful, easy going trail; Elevation gained gradually. A quick win for Waterfall Chasers. Go early to beat the crowds. The drive to the TH ends with a stretch down a long gravel/dirt road; lots of potholes and barely wide enough for opposing traffic. The parking lot has a restroom.

The hike was absolutely perfect yesterday! No mud, few bugs, a couple of cowardly snakes! If you are using the directions through this app, at least on Waze, it guides you to the wrong trailhead. You need to look for the sign to lower falls creek trail and not just follow the GPS. Other than that, excellent.

The trail itself was really nice. It was pretty easy of a hike but there are quite a bit of uphills throughout but nothing too crazy. Family friendly. The only issue is keep an eye on your dogs! I discovered he had a tick the day after going on this hike. I’ve heard ticks have been out everywhere lately so be cautious please!

Short and easy hike but very rewarding!! Road was a bit rough with a few areas with potholes. The trail itself is well maintained and only a bit muddy at times. The waterfalls are just incredible. When you reach the waterfall you can climb up and around to the left of the falls to reach the upper falls for even better views. Highly recommend!!

This trail is actually a tad over 6 miles, strange that it shows up as 5! Nice and mostly shaded.

Parking at the trailhead is open. There are a lot of potholes on the stretch of road leading up to the trailhead but it was easily accessible for a car w/o AWD. We chose to hike to the base of the waterfall first, which was beautiful! And then went back to follow the loop around to the top of the waterfall. Very nice, moderate hike that took us about 3 hours.

The most gorgeous, meditative hike along the creek. As of 5/20/20, the gate is open and you can park at the trailhead. Highly recommend.

Lots of potholes going up to trailhead. Started early in the day and social distancing was a lot easier but on our hike out we found it to be hard to socially distance as the trail got really popular. This is a fairly easy trail that would be fun with kids. My partner and I were able to do this in about 3 hours and we ate lunch and scrambled down to the pool of the waterfall.
